Nina Kraljic (Croatia) wins the Barbara Dex Award

Croatian godess Nina Kraljic performed her song "Lighthouse" on the Globen Arena with her impressive voice. However, something else was in the spotlight; her outfits. Not only one, but two.

It was more than sure that Nina Kraljic was going to win the Barbara Dex award. And she did!
For those who don't know, the Barbara Dex Award is a humorous award given to the worst dressed artist each year in the contest. It is named after the Belgian artist, Barbara Dex, who came last in the 1993 contest, in which she wore her own self designed dress. Meanwhile, this year marks the final edition that the Barbara Dex Award will be organised by House of Eurovision.
Nina Kraljic was awarded 770 of the 2221 valid votes received. Germany's Jamie Lee placed second with 335 points, Switzerland's Rykka third with 201 points. In fourth place we find Poli Genova from Boulgaria and in fifth place Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This year, in its 20th anniversary, marks the final time that the award will be made by the House of Eurovision. From next year the website songfestival.be takes over the running of the award.
