Eesti Laul 2017: Koit Toome & Laura with "Verona" win
Tonight, the final of Eesti Laul 2017 took place in Talinn, Estonia. Ten acts competed in order to get the ticket for the Eurovision Song Contest:
- Liis Lemsalu – “Keep Running”
- Koit Toome & Laura – “Verona”
- Whogaux & Karl-Kristjan ft. Maian – “Have you now”
- Lenna Kuurmaa – “Slingshot”
- Daniel Levi – “All I need”
- Elina Born – “In or Out”
- Ivo Linna – “Suur loterii”
- Rasmus Randvee – “This love”
- Ariadne – “Feel me now”
- Kerli – “Spirit animal”
After the ten acts had performed, a combination of 50% jury and 50% televote chose the three superfinalists, who went on to perform their songs again. There were 10 juries, with Mans Zemerlow and Poli Genova among them. The three superfinalists were:
- Kerli – “Spirit Animal”
- Koit Toome & Laura – “Verona”
- Rasmus Randvee – “This love”
Then, the result came only from the televoting. Koit Toome & Laura declared winners. The biggest surprise was that Elina Born, 2015 representative and favourite to win, came last with only 2 points. She was given 1 point from the juries and 1 from the televote. Here are the full results:
